The "Let's Help Africa" Trust is a Christian, humanitarian, relief organization, specialising in emergency and disaster aid and sustainable development in Africa.

Let’s Help Africa is a dream born out of love for Africa and her people, a concern for her hungry and a burning desire to help the desperate, the starving and the children dying of hunger and disease.

We, who have been born on this beautiful continent, blessed by the richness and resources and enjoying the vastness and splendor of her nature, are responsible for the welfare of her children.

We are responsible for this generation, in a time of strife and hunger, disease and famine, hardship and horror. We need to bring light into this darkness, hope into this hopelessness, food to the hungry and relief for the desperate.

Let’s Help Africa will facilitate a mouthpiece for the distressed, a vehicle for aid of any kind towards the worst of needs, a connection between the helper and the helped. For those who love Africa, let us all do what we can, and lets help Africa!

MISSION STATEMENT

Let’s Help Africa’s aim is to:

• Form a link between those who can help, and those with the greatest need.
• Identify where the most urgent need is.
• Send relief teams to provide emergency equipment, food and medical assistance to those in urgent need.
• Leave teams behind to assist in medical aid, counseling, agricultural and or fishing training, etc.
• Assist in community development, e.g. schools, aids orphanages, clinics, food
  producing farms, tourism and small business development.
• Link up with other NGOs who can assist by means of joining forces.
• Share their need with the media, the church, the corporate sector and the general
  public, thereby raising interest and support and exposing Africa's needs to those
  who can help.
