The staff of a company like LHA will mean the success or failure of the whole initiative, and will therefore be chosen with great care. They will not only be chosen for their individual skills, but also for their heart for the vision, ability to adapt to new challenges, willingness to work under African conditions and their ability to fit into the bigger team.

PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

LHA will need the following personnel:

  • Farm Managers
  • Help Team members such as drivers, medical staff, agriculturists, cooks, etc.
  • Volunteers to go on short term to assist Help Teams

The list of required personnel will always grow as the project grows. The aim is to create as many job opportunities as possible, without going overboard in terms of cash flow.

All personnel will receive the required training to do their task effectively. Where possible our own personnel or consultants will do on-the-job training, but if necessary a worker may have to attend an official course in his or her field of expertise.

Proper training ensures proper jobs, but gives also dignity and self-worth.
